Generate a New URL for Self-Registration
When you set up Self-Registration, TrueContext generates a URL that leads to a Self-Registration page. Share this URL with new users so they can create their own accounts. If the Self-Registration URL is compromised, you can deactivate it and generate a new one. This topic explains how to deactivate and regenerate the Self-Registration URL.

Deactivate the Self-Registration URL
Note:If you deactivate the Self-Registration URL, users who have already created accounts will not lose their accounts. However, new users cannot use the deactivated URL to self-register.

Select your username > Team Settings > Billing and Usage, and then select your subscription.

Hover over the arrow next to the subscription name, and then select Deactivate Self-Registration.
Result: A Self-Registration Deactivation Warning displays.

Read the warning carefully, and then select Proceed.
Result: The Self-Registration URL is deactivated and can’t be restored.
Generate a new Self-Registration URL
To reactivate Self-Registration, repeat the process to Add Self-Registration to your subscription.This generates a new Self-Registration URL to share with new users.
Note:This URL is not the same as the one you disabled. Once disabled, a URL cannot be restored.
