Sign in with Multi-Factor Authentication
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) provides an extra layer of security for users signing into TrueContext. When a user signs in with their username and password, TrueContext requests an additional authentication method to verify the user’s identity. This topic describes how to sign into the TrueContext Mobile App and Web Portal with MFA.

Tip:Your organization can use both MFA and SSO within your TrueContext implementation. For example, you can set up employee users for SSO and third-party contractor users for MFA native login.

Go to the TrueContext Web Portal
The TrueContext Web Portal is a web application used to manage security settings, forms, FormSpaces, other users, Data Sources, and Data Destinations. sign in page, or open the TrueContext Mobile App.

Enter your username and password, and then select Log In.
Result: TrueContext sends a 6-digit code to the email address associated with your account.

Go to your email inbox to get the authentication code.
Tip:The authentication email comes from donotreply@truecontext.com, and it might end up in your spam or junk folder. Add this address to your safe sender list and adjust any inbox rules that remove TrueContext emails from your main inbox.The authentication code expires 10 minutes after you attempt to sign in. If the code expires or you can’t find your authentication email, return to the sign in screen and reenter your username and password. This sends a new authentication email.

To sign into the Mobile App, enter your authentication code. To sign into the Web Portal, enter your authentication code and select Login.
Result: TrueContext verifies your code and signs you in.
Note:TrueContext locks your account after five failed login attempts. If this happens, the system sends you an email to reset your password and recover your account.
